承担(参与)科研项目情况:

1999年,王俊教授在人类基因组计划中承担了中国部分的数据分析工作。随后于2001年,在中国籼稻基因组计划中负责生物信息学分析部分。包括水稻基因组组装、注释、表达、复制、比较基因组学、分子进化、转录调控、多态性等多个方面。王俊教授同时还致力于脊椎动物中的基因注释问题和非编码基因问题。在2003-2004年还参与了SARS 基因组分析,组织实施了家蚕、家猪基因组计划与家鸡多态性图谱计划。2007年组织实施完成了第一个黄种人的基因组图谱计划(炎黄计划)。发展了RePS、ReAS、SOAP等数十个引用率很高的序列分析软件算法,开发了十几个数据库。
王俊教授现正组织实施个体人类基因组计划、千人基因组计划、糖尿病基因组计划、胃肠道元基因组计划、熊猫基因组计划以及多个多态性图谱计划(包括水稻、蚕和猪基因组)等。
