        On January 2, 2001 Mr. Song Ping, former standing committee of  Central  Committee of  Chinese Communist Party, visited the garden and went sighting shade plants garden, ex situ conservation center for cycads and petrified forest , accompanied by vice-mayor Li Decheng and Luo Meng, vice-director of Shenzhen City Management Department.

 
        On January 13, 2001 Mr. Zeng Peiyan, Minister in charge of  State Commission of  Economy Development, visited ex situ conservation center and petrified forest of the garden, who was accompanied by mayor Yu Youjun.

 
        On January 27, 2001 Mr. Xiao Yang, Chief  Procurator of  Supreme  People's  Procuratorate, visited ex situ conservation center and petrified forest of the garden, who was accompanied by  Mr.  Li  Hao, former secretary of  Shenzhen  Committee of  Chinese  Communist  Party.

 
        On January 30, 2001 Mr. Jiang Chunyun, Vice-Chairman of National People's Congress Standing Committee, visited petrified forest and the banyan tree in the garden which was planted by Deng Xiaoping. The visiting was accompanied by ice-mayor Li Decheng and Wu Zijun, director of Shenzhen City Management Department.

 
        On January 31, 2001 Mr. Li Ximing, Vice-Chairman of  National  People's  Congress  Standing Committee, visited ex situ conservation center, petrified forest and the banyan tree in the garden which was planted by Deng Xiaoping. The visiting was accompanied by Secretary Zhou Jinghua, Secretary of Shenzhen City Management Department.

 
        On February 1, 2001 Mr. Long Yongtu, Vice-Minister of  Ministry of  Foreign Economy and Trade, visited the garden and went sighting cacti & succulents, petrified forest and the banyan tree in the garden which was planted by Deng Xiaoping.

 
        On February 2, 2001 Li Peng, Chairman of National People's Congress Standing Committee visited ex situ conservation center for cycads and petrified forest in the garden , who was accompanied by Mr. Zhang Gaoli, secretary of Shenzhen Committee of Chinese Communist Party, mayor Yu Youjun and Mr. Wu Zijun, director of Shenzhen City Management Department.
