We are happy to welcome you at The 9th International Conference on Cycad Biology (CYCAD 2011) held in the Shenzhen International Garden and Flower Expo Park, Shenzhen, from December 1 to 7, 2011! Before starting your trip, please find the following practical information about transportation.

Shenzhen is situated in Guangdong, China on the Hong Kong border about 40km north of Hong Kong Central and approximately 100km south of Guangzhou. It is easily reached from Hongkong International Airport, Shenzhen Baoan International Airport and Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport.

1. Transportation from Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport or Shenzhen Railway Station

The registration site, Bon-Garden Business Hotel is located in West Zhuzilin of Futian District in Shenzhen.

1.1 Conference shuttle bus The Local Organizing Committee of CYCAD2011 will arrange meeting shuttle buses between the conference venue and the airport on Dec 1, 2011, from 10:00 to 20:00. If you are interested, please send your information to us, indicating your flight number and estimated time of arrival.

1.2 Taxi Service The hotel is about 27 km from Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport. The taxi fee will be about 75 RMB.

2. Transportation from Hong Kong International Airport

2.1 Ferry Transfer

The ferry is one of the most comfortable ways of coming to Shenzhen from Hong Kong Airport. The terminal is Shenzhen Shekou Port, it takes about 0.5 hour, the ferry ticket price is about 220 HKD.

1).We will arrange cars to collect you at Shenzhen Shekou Port on Dec 1, 2011, from 10:00 to 22:30. Please send your name and flight number to local organizing committee.
2). After you arrived at Shenzhen Shekou Port, you can also take taxi, the taxi fee will about 40 RMB.

2.2 Public Bus

Coach services are available at the Coach Station of Terminal 2. Regular services depart from the airport to Shenzhen Huanggang Port and Shenzhen Bay Port provided, about 88 HKD.
Huanggang (Service hours: 07:00 – 01:00), every 20min.
Shenzhen Bay Port (Service hours: 07:00 – 22:30) every 20 min.
After you arrived at above two ports, Please take taxi to Bon-Garden hotel, both about 12km, taxi fee about 40 RMB.

3. Transportation from Guangzhou Baiyun Airport

Please go to Shenzhen via airport express. This bus departs from Baiyun Airport and run from 10:00 to 22:00 hourly. The trip takes 2.5 hours and costs 88 RMB. After you arrive at Shenzhen, please go to Bon-Garden Business Hotel by taxi.

4. Local Guide of Venue and Hotels

The conference venue is at Shenzhen International Garden and Flower Expo Park.

The Bon-Garden Business Hotel, City Inn Zhuzilin, Novotel Bauhinia Shenzhen and Grand Mercure Oriental Ginza Shenzhen have been contracted to provide rooms for conference attendants.

The registration desk will be set up at Bon-Garden Business Hotel.
