Fairy Lake Botanical Garden Wins the Title of “Guangdong Forest Eco-tourism Demonstration Base”
At the awarding ceremony
On 27 September 2009, Fairy Lake Botanical Garden won the title of “Guangdong Forest Eco-tourism Demonstration Base” by Guangdong Forestry Bureau and Guangdong Province Tourism Bureau, and the Director of Tourism Service Department went to Guangzhou to participate in the awarding ceremony on behalf of our Garden. The appraisal began in middle August and was greatly supported by officials of the Garden. After rigorous appraisal, experts in the assessment panel reached a consensus that our Garden achieved the Guangdong Forest Eco-tourism Demonstration Base Assessment Standards. They awarded the board of “Guangdong Forest Eco-tourism Demonstration Base” to our Garden. (Author: Wang Xi)
