Fairy Lake Botanical Garden Attends CAS Botanic Garden and Herbarium Public Science Network Committee Work Conference

The fifth CAS Botanic Garden and Herbarium Public Science Network Committee Work Conference was held at South China Botanical Garden in Guangzhou on February 19 and 20, 2009. Deputy Director-General of Bureau of Planning and Strategy Chinese Academy of Sciences Tian Ming attended the Conference and delivered an important speech. Deputy Director-General of Bureau of Life Science & Biotechnology Chinese Academy of Sciences Su Ronghui was also present at the Conference.

At the Conference, on behalf of Fairy Lake Botanical Garden, PhD. Jin Hong delivered a speech about our Garden’s public science work in 2008 in the form of PPT. Our public science workers also joined in the discussion about the 2009 public science work plan and the Twelfth Five-Year public science work plan of this committee.

After the Conference, our Garden’s public science workers and other attendees visited the new Greenhouse Group built by Guangdong Science Center and South China Botanical Garden
