Czech Association of Scientific and Technical Societies Visits Fairy Lake Botanical Garden

On the afternoon of March 14 2008, Czech Association of Scientific and Technical Societies, which was led by Chairman Daniel Hanus and accompanied by Guangdong Provincial Association for Science and Technology, visited Shenzhen Fairy Lake Botanical Garden. PhD. Jiao Genlin and PhD. Jin Hong of Fairy Lake Botanical Garden gave guests an introduction to the background, development history and public science work of Fairy Lake Botanical Garden. The delegation spoke highly of our plants collection and the unique landscape layout after they visited Shady Plants Area 、Cycad Germplasm Conservation Center, Lake District and Fossil Forest.

The delegation visited China to learn about China Association for Science and Technology (CAST) and regional science & technology associations, and had a preliminary discussion about possible cooperation between Czech and China. Fairy Lake Botanical Garden made a deep impression on the guests thanks to its beautiful landscape and rich scientific connotations
