US Longwood Gardens visits Fairy Lake Botanical Garden for Public Science Exchanges

On June 13, a delegation of US Longwood Gardens visited Fairy Lake Botanical Garden for public science exchange and field study.

During the exchange meeting, Longwood Gardens introduced its development situation to our public science workers and postgraduates. The two gardens also had an in-depth exchange about their own department setup, public science teams, the planning and implementation of public science activities, etc.

After the meeting, workers of Longwood Gardens had an on-the-spot investigation on our Garden. Longwood Gardens showed great interest to our species conservation and public science exhibitions, and spoke highly of our beautiful garden.

Appendix: Introduction to Longwood Gardens

Longwood Gardens was built in Pennsylvania in 1798, covering an area of 425 hectares. It stages over 400 dramas, concerts and various art shows every year, with 860,000 visitor arrivals recorded every year.
